{San Francisco, February 24, 2022} Companies with the best candidate experience are more likely to hold recruiters accountable by tying it to their pay, according to research from Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and benchmark research of a quality candidate experience.
Among the report’s findings:
- 2021 Top 10 companies in North America align recruiter performance with candidate experience 6% more often than the average for all companies.
- 2021 Top APAC companies align recruiter performance with candidate experience 6% more often than the average for all companies.
- 2021 Top LATAM companies align recruiter performance with candidate experience 29% more often than the average for all companies.
“Recruiters have always been on the front lines of candidate experience,” says Kevin Grossman, Talent Board president. “And as recruiting technologies automate a bigger part of the early recruitment stages for companies with any hiring volume, the first human contacts will still be recruiters – and the experience they create will take on ever greater importance.”
The most extensive study of its kind, Talent Board’s benchmark research covers recruiting and hiring experiences from pre-application to onboarding, what makes for positive and fair candidate experiences, and how employers deliver those experiences. In 2021, more than 150 companies hiring around the world participated in the Talent Board benchmark research program (also known as the CandEs), which ultimately collected the feedback and experiences of nearly 200,000 job candidates. For the past 10+ years, Talent Board has worked with over 1,200 candidates and surveyed over 1.25 million candidates.
